Privacy Policy (Beta)

Effective date: May 31, 2026
Applies to: GroupOut mobile app beta and related services at groupout.app

GroupOut (“we,” “our,” “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use the GroupOut mobile app and related beta services (the “Service”).

Beta notice: GroupOut is in pre-release beta testing. Features, data practices, and this policy may change as we learn from testers. We will notify you of material changes through the app or other reasonable means.

Who We Are

GroupOut is a U.S.-based, location-enabled real-time social networking app for singles. We help people see where the night is happening at shared venues — bars, restaurants, and clubs — and connect in person when both people choose to engage. GroupOut is not a dating app; we do not algorithmically match you with other users.

We built GroupOut because the best connections happen face-to-face, not through endless swiping or performative profiles. When you Go Live at a venue, you can see who else is live there tonight, send a ping, and chat — then get out of the way so you can meet in real life.

Where This Privacy Policy Applies

This Privacy Policy applies to our mobile application and related beta services currently offered in the United States, with initial beta activity focused in the Knoxville, Tennessee area. It does not apply to third-party services or websites you may interact with through our platform.

During beta, paid subscriptions and in-app purchases are not available.
