Child Safety Standards
GroupOut maintains zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), grooming, and any sexual content involving minors. This page describes our published standards, how users can report concerns, and how we respond.
1. Adults only
- GroupOut is for users 21 years of age or older only.
- We do not knowingly permit minors to create accounts or use the Service.
- If we learn that a user is under 21, we remove the account and associated content.
2. Prohibited content and conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on GroupOut:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors.
- Grooming, solicitation, or exploitation of minors.
- Impersonation of minors or encouragement for minors to use the Service.
- Sharing, requesting, or directing users to CSAE content on or off the platform.
- Any other conduct that facilitates harm to children or violates applicable law.

3. Prevention measures
- Age requirement — users must confirm eligibility; accounts may be removed if we determine a user is under 21.
- In-app camera photos — session photos are captured in-app to reduce fake or misattributed images.
- Automated photo screening — session photos may be analyzed by a third-party moderation provider before they are shown to other users.
- Block and report — users can block others and submit in-app reports from user profiles.
- Account enforcement — we may suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these standards.
4. Reporting child safety concerns
In the app: Open a user’s profile in Browse → use Report or Block. Reports are reviewed by GroupOut.
By email: Contact support@groupout.app with subject line Child Safety Report. Include the reported username, venue (if known), date/time, and a description of the concern.
Emergency: If anyone is in immediate danger, contact 911 or local emergency services first.
5. How we respond
- We prioritize reports involving potential harm to minors.
- We may remove content, suspend accounts, and preserve records needed for investigation.
- We comply with applicable U.S. law, including reporting obligations where required.
- When appropriate, we report CSAM and related information to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement.
